About me

QUALIFIED Integrative counsellor

An empathetic space for your feelings, emotions and challenges to be explored.

I am a qualified integrative counsellor which means I draw on different approaches depending on the individual needs of the client.  At my core I am person-centred.  I therefore believe given the right conditions a person can reach their full potential and become their true self.  I offer a warm, non-judgmental and empathetic space for your feelings, emotions and challenges to be explored.  I believe that you are the expert of your own life so I will not try to steer you in any direction.

I work with a range of issues including anxiety, depression, relationship issues and self-harm.  I have a special interest in working with survivors of childhood sexual abuse and trauma.  I work with adults of all ages and young people (aged 14 years and upwards).

I have worked for local charities such as Open Door in Saffron Walden and Lifecraft in Cambridge.  I also like to work creatively if the client finds this helpful.

I am a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and commit to working in accordance with the Ethical Framework.
